Hello, first sorry my english (i´m from Brazil). Then, I have a Crystal Mouthpiece, Vandoren A3. Among the Mouthpiece that I used ,was the most I liked. I would like know what do you talk about it?

    I haven’t ever really used Crystal Mouthpieces. I personally don’t like the sound I get on my clarinet with them. I have tried one or two, and I don’t remember the brands. It just made my clarinet sound bad. But, if YOU like the way things sound on your clarinet, then, by all means, use the Crystal Mouthpiece.

    I also have crytal vandoren a3…It’s open mouthpiece…very sweet sound..and mellow…easy staccato…and i’m searching for more open, like pomarico 3 or pomarico jazz serie….but a3 is a beauty…….

    I just broke my Vandoren A1 crystal mouthpiece. Can anyone give me the specifications of it so that hopefully I can buy an new mouthpiece which might be a close match?

    The A1 had a tip opening of 1.10mm and a facing length of 18mm.

    The A2 had a tip opening of 1.20mm and a facing length of 17mm.

    The A3 had a tip opening of 1.30mm and a facing length of 18mm.
